Chief Executive Officer
David S. Cohen
brings both a strategic and an execution orientation to PVI Solar, where he is responsible for crafting, coordinating, and implementing our long-term business strategy and for translating our vision into tangible and profitable business growth.

Previously, David was COO and CFO for several manufacturing and business service companies, including a multi-national paper/packaging firm with 11 locations across 6 countries. David was COO for North America’s fastest growing background screening company, Sterling Testing Systems, where he scaled operations to support revenue growth from $25 mm to $70 mm in 2 years. At Sterling, he built the industry’s first offshore captive BPO with capacity for up to 500 staff.

David is a graduate of Bernard Baruch College, CUNY with BBA in Computer Methodologies.


Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Edward Shenker
has more than 16 years of combined sales, sales management, and marketing experience. He is responsible for PVI Solar’s strategic and tactical sales planning as well as the company’s brand marketing, management, and execution.

Ed was previously EVP, Sales and Marketing at Sterling Testing Systems, where he helped triple the company’s revenues over 3 years through a combination of direct and channel marketing strategies. He also managed the top performing sales region as the Director of Sales at Wolters Kluwer’s Corporate and Legal Division, overseeing key corporate initiatives focused on customer retention and client acquisition.

Ed has received a variety of honors and accolades over the course of his career, and has been featured on CNN, MSNBC, and The Washington Post. He is a graduate of Tufts University where he holds a Bachelor’s degree in History.


Executive Vice President, Corporate Development
Paul Mladineo
has more than 15 years of experience leading business development and strategic planning efforts at start-up, mid-sized and enterprise organizations and is experienced at synthesizing information and ideas into successful business strategies. His responsibilities at PVI Solar include general business and product strategy as well as the development of both national and global sales distribution partnerships.

Before joining PVI Solar, he created and managed a highly profitable channel sales business at Sterling Testing Systems, developing the first successful reseller model in the pre-employment screening industry. He also led business development and strategic product sourcing teams for several top online music ventures, including Columbia House and CDNow/Musicblvd.com, and N2K, where he also was Director Finance during N2K’s highly successful IPO and SPO.

Paul has a Bachelor’s degree with Honors from Georgetown University and an MBA from The University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Kenan-Flagler Business School.
